No standard theme with your logo dropped in. Custom Liquid, considered product pages, and an email foundation that is in place from launch. I have run my own store for over four years, so I know the work does not stop the moment a shop goes live.
A wellness brand selling in five languages across Europe. I rebuilt the storefront around a shared component system, so changes can be applied consistently across the whole store. I also built new product and collection pages, improved the navigation and search, and set the storefront up again for desktop and mobile.
What I built:
Built mobile first. Because most of the traffic arrives on a phone, layout, navigation and product pages were designed for smaller screens first.
Concept stores I built myself, not client work. Each one demonstrates a different piece of what goes into a build. Click through and try them.
These are my own concepts, made to be taken apart. No real products, no real checkout. What does work is everything underneath: the Liquid logic, the variants, the filtering and the language switching.
Two more case studies are in progress. Want to be one of them? Get in touch and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit.
Fixed price, a clear scope, revision rounds included. You own your accounts, your domain and everything I build. No lock-in and no monthly fee to me unless you want ongoing help. Below: the offer for online stores. Not selling online? The next section is for you.
Counted from the moment your copy, images, product information and access are in.
Your own layout, designed for mobile and desktop: home, collection, product page, about, contact and FAQ.
No slow page builders and no unnecessary code ballast, just clean custom Liquid sections, built specifically for your brand. That means a fast store and a smooth experience for the people buying from you.
Payments (iDEAL, credit card), shipping zones, domain, navigation and search.
Before launch I walk the checkout from first click to confirmation email, on a real device, so nothing breaks when your first customer arrives.
The full Shopify to Klaviyo connection, plus the three flows that earn the most, styled in your brand:
Including a custom sign-up pop-up.
Also included: two revision rounds, a personal handover into your own Shopify account, and two weeks of support after delivery for technical issues with my work.
Not every store needs these. You do not have to pick anything here — during the intake I tell you which parts apply to you, and the amount is in the quote before anything starts.
More than 600 products: on request.
Six dedicated hours a month, for stores that are live and want to keep improving. Unused hours do not roll over. Cancel monthly, with one month's notice.
Just a small job? From €150. Liquid changes, a custom section, mobile fixes or Klaviyo work on a store that already exists. Anything larger gets a fixed price agreed up front.
Building the store is a one-off cost. Running it is not. A webshop lives on a platform, and that platform is a subscription you pay every month, directly to Shopify. I do not charge it, I do not resell it and I earn nothing on it. Compare it to a physical shop: you pay once to fit it out, and you keep paying rent for the premises.
Shopify is not a program you buy once and then own. It is a service that keeps your store running, so you pay for it as long as you use it. In return you get:
Stop paying and your store goes offline, though your products, pages and order history are kept so you can pick it up again later. You take out the subscription in your own name, which is precisely why the store belongs to you and not to me. Shopify publishes its current rates on shopify.com/pricing; the amounts above are indications and can change.
For landscapers, installers, practices and small firms. Same approach as above: one fixed price, a clear scope, and copy written for you. No cart, no payments, no monthly contract.
Counted from the moment your photos are in and we have had our call.
Home, services, projects, about you and contact.
The copy comes out of one half-hour call. You write nothing yourself, which is exactly the part most people get stuck on.
Fast on a phone, where most of your visitors are.
Enquiries land straight in your inbox and your number is tappable on every page. Domain and hosting arranged, in your name, so you own everything.
Your business profile set up and linked, and copy containing the words people in your trade actually search for.
What I will not do is promise you a position. Nobody can, and anyone who does is selling you something else.
Also included: one round of revisions, and no monthly contract — a site built this way needs no maintenance. Changes later are billed per time at €75 an hour.
Want the detail? The full page for local businesses covers what is not included, what it costs to add, and the questions I get asked most.
Twenty minutes. What you sell, who buys it, and what is in the way. If I am not the right person, I will say so.
Fixed price, what is included, what is not, and when it is done. Nothing starts before you agree.
Fifty percent at the start, fifty percent before the final handover. Normal for project work and it protects us both.
In a Shopify development store, so nothing touches a live shop. You get updates, not silence.
Collect your feedback, I work through it. More is possible, at the hourly rate.
The store transfers to your own Shopify account. You own everything, and I walk you through it so you can run it yourself.
That is why we work with two revision rounds and why I collect feedback during the project instead of only at the end. Before we start we also agree on the style and functionality we are aiming for, so you know up front what to expect.
Yes, but not to me. Shopify charges a subscription for every month your store is online and you pay that straight to them, in your own name. Budget from roughly €30 a month to start, plus a domain name and any paid apps you choose. The full breakdown is in the services section above.
After delivery you get two weeks of support for technical issues relating to the work I delivered. After that you can bring me in per project or per hour. There is no mandatory maintenance subscription.
No. Your Shopify account, domain and all custom code I write for the project stay with you. I build with the standard technology of Shopify, so another Shopify developer can take the work over later.
Most projects are live within two weeks, counted from the moment all text, images, product information and access have been supplied. That last part matters: the clock starts when your content is in, not when the quote is signed. The exact planning is set out in the quote.
Then I let you know as soon as possible and the planning shifts where needed. Because you work directly with me, you hear that directly from me.
I am Olivier. For about four years I have been building and running my own e-commerce brand, which means I have already made most of the mistakes: on product pages, in shipping settings, in email flows nobody opens.
You talk to the person doing the work. No account manager in between, no team you never meet. I take on a small number of projects so each one gets real attention.
My strength is the combination of Shopify, Liquid, design, conversion thinking and email marketing, backed by more than four years of building and running an e-commerce business myself. I know which questions only show up after launch, because I have had to answer them for my own store.
A short description of your brand and where you are stuck is enough to start. I usually reply within one working day.
